Responsibilities Sorting the daily mail Maintaining filing systems (electronic and paper files) Typing forms, letters, notes, and other materials Completing tasks and projects following supervisors' directions Organizing package pickups, sending bills, checking emails, sending faxes, creating copies, and updating computer databases using office equipment (in some cases) Pulling medical records, refiling them, creating charts, ensuring incoming lab reports and other documents are added to patient records.
Performing other support tasks and duties required for the position (in some cases) Qualifications for Medical Office Assistant Customer service skills and telephone etiquette Professional and courteous disposition Excellent communication and time management skills Great organizational and multitasking skills Empathy and compassion to give support to patients Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Familiarity with medical terms and technology a plus Medical office experience a plus Administrative experience a plus Job Type:
