We are a leading provider of mobile radiology services, and we are looking to add a full-time and part-time Medical Front Desk Receptionist to our facility in Fenton, MI! Full-Time Schedule:
Must be willing to work onsite, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7 am and 6 pm.
Medical Front Desk Receptionist are professionals who are responsible for coordinating the daily administration of the imaging center.
They schedule appointments, answer patient inquiries, communicate with referring physician offices, verify insurance and out of pocket expenses, and greet the patient when they arrive for the exam.
Our Medical Front Desk Receptionist are the face of the imaging center and are expected to treat our patients in a compassionate and empathic manner.
To ensure success, the Medical Front Desk Receptionist should be confident and professional administrators with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of the healthcare facility.
Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient emergencies.
Medical Front Desk Receptionist
Responsibilities:
Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.
Maintain business inventory such as checking supplies, scheduling equipment, and maintenance repairs.
Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of all doctors, staff, and patient information.
Schedule appointments.
Verify insurance and patient's out of pocket expenses.
Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities.
Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.
Medical Front Desk Receptionist Requirements:
Prefer a minimum of 1 year of experience at a radiology clinic or physician office in a Medical Receptionist role.
Working knowledge of medical terminology and verification of insurance is ideal.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
Passionate about healthcare excellence.
