We are looking to expand our team by hiring an on-staff recruiter.
This position will work in our office and the field, building relationships with potential new hire candidates for any of our trades (HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical, Insulation & Controls) and then work with our HR team to help facilitate the onboard process for each new hire as they join our team.
As part of our exciting growth strategy, we are seeking a highly motivated Talent Recruiter who will play a pivotal role in attracting, sourcing, and selecting top-tier talent to contribute to our organization's success and long-term growth.
This person will work with department managers to understand their long-term recruiting goals and develop effective approaches to identify and engage ideal candidates.
Daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Lead full life cycle recruiting for new and existing positions.
Partner with managers to gather the necessary information to determine job requirements, skills, experience, timeline, etc.
Maintain candidate databases and job boards, promoting awareness of job opportunities internally and externally.
Utilize various proactive sourcing techniques, including online job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct sourcing, to identify and attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
Reach out to passive candidates, actively recruit them, and build talent pipelines for future opportunities.
Conduct initial candidate phone screenings to assess candidate skills, qualifications, and general company fit.
Coordinate interviews with candidates, managers, and interview teams.
Lead the effort to provide an exceptional candidate experience.
Upon approval, negotiate contracts with potential candidates to bring them to our team.
Work with our HR team to help manage the onboarding process, training, HR paperwork, etc, to ensure all is done to compliance.
Serve as a mentor for new employees during the onboarding process, as well as ensuring the transition on the Rolls team.
Answer any questions they may have in their first 90 days.
Work closely with management to understand specific staffing requirements and workforce needs to develop effective recruitment strategies.
Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment and interview process.
Seek out and present opportunities to attend job fairs or similar events, etc.
What You Will Bring to the Team:
Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:
2-5 years of experience in a recruiting/talent acquisition capacity OR 5
years in our trades (HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical, Insulation & Controls) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations Goal-oriented with a superior work ethic, experienced self-starter, and practical time management skills Have a passion for building relationships and meeting new people Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to changes and consistently balance competing demands Experienced in Microsoft products, Google Business Suite, & other software.
Must be tech-savvy and have a sincere interest in adopting new technologies- we are a paperless office Seek out opportunities to participate in job fairs or other promotional opportunities to Preferred experience, knowledge, and skills:
