To maintain and conduct sample submissions based on AIAG PPAP requirements.
Follows approved and recognized Quality Control procedures and guidelines and to support to overall Quality Improvement objectives established by the company.
Provides information for quality improvement by identifying and testing methods and samples, while conducting audit and PPAPS per business needs.
Essential Functions:
1.
Updating of PPAP report daily in order to follow-up, plan, organize and report the status of samples in progress; distribute weekly.
2.
Ensures timely completion of material certification for PPAP package.
3.
Inspects the product, blueprint, and SPC study to ensure compliance with customer requirements, coordination with plant personnel and to maintain accurate data for the Plant Quality Managers review and and inclusion in Sample Submission Packages.
4.
Maintains all customer sample requirements in file for location use.
5.
Coordinates or develops process flow diagram, FMEA, and Control Plan/Inspection Instruction Sheets.
6.
Assists in the performance and maintenance of the Gage RR studies as required.
7.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing data; making recommendations.
8.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
9.
Develop and monitor implementation of Quality Control procedures with the process owners within the automotive manufacturing plants.
Participate in quality problem solving from quality audits.
Apply QA and QA knowledge into manufacturing processes.
Also support other Quality Engineering Functions.
10.
Use APQP - Advanced Product Quality Planning - track progress of quality initiatives.
Monitor quality related project program status, particularly new project launch quality.
Provide quality (QE) support to necessary manufacturing operations and new product launches.
Requirements:
Must have 5 or more years Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience.
Prior experience in internal quality, customer quality, or launch quality or program management role related to quality.
Knowledge and experience in quality documentation for the Automotive Industry.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
