Essential duties and required skills include and are not limited to the following:
Essential Duties:
Clean work areas and preserve physical appearance of building:
sweeping, mopping, poop scooping, trash removal, scrubbing outdoor areas, etc Feed, water and medicate the animals Maintain records on animals in software Socialize animals; walking, training, enrichment and maintaining a positive work environment Work and interact with customers and volunteers Provide tours, adoptions, etc Other duties as assigned Required Skills & Abilities Accept responsibility and account for actions Follow instructions, safety practices and standard of operation procedures Attend work as scheduled and be punctual Work effectively with people regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion or job type Safely and routinely carry up to 60lbs Safely care for and handle dogs and cats Read, understand and follow written and oral instructions Comfortably use computer programs Multi-task and time manage Typical hours are from 8am-4pm and/or 1pm to 9pm Monday through Sunday.
