CMM OPERATOR
The Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Romer Operator is responsible for ensuring that tubes are bent to customer specs and tolerances with the use of a portable CMM Romer. The Romer Operator will work with CNC Bend and Universal Bend personnel to correct tube bending set-ups in order to meet customer specifications. The Roper Operator must be able to measure Pre Production Approval Process (PPAP) to collect data.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1. Computer knowledge
2. Basic/Advanced Engineering knowledge
3. Knowledge of XYZ coordinate system
4. Good organization and communication skills required
5. Eye-hand coordination
6. Willing to listen and learn; work within team
7. Able to read drawings and accurately use calipers and tape measure
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
